Component properties are the controls used to edit a section’s content and options in Build Mode. Instead of clicking directly on text or images, you use properties to update everything in a structured and consistent way.
Properties only expose what is safe to edit, so you can make changes without affecting the site’s design.
How to Edit Component Properties
- Click on the section or component you want to edit.
- The Properties panel will appear.
- Update the available fields.
- Changes are saved automatically and applied immediately.
Common Types of Properties
- Text — edit headings, labels, or short text.
- Rich text — edit longer content with formatting options.
- Image — upload or replace images.
- Link — update buttons or linked text.
- Options / Dropdowns — choose between preset layout or style options.
- Visibility / Toggles — show or hide optional elements within a section.
